DIME & PENNY: Wonderful feats of magic can be performed with this classic piece of magic. The magician places a dime on the table and asks the audience how much money is there. Everyone will say "10 cents". The magician continues to add a penny (total value of 11 cents), a nickel (now 16 cents) and finally a quarter (total value = 41 cents). Everyone agrees that 41 cents has been counted on the table. Imagine their surprise when you push the coins over to reveal only 31 cents. The dime has vanished.
